   My Priorities

Instill a Culture of Open, Honest Transparent Government

Stabalize Taxes by Reducing Discretionary Spending

   Address Sewer and Flooding issues

Shift from Rapid Development to Smart Development

    My Commitments to You

I will be a full time Supervisor – we are dealing with critical issues
as a town that requires focused leadership. My door will always be open.

I will propose suspending the costly island wide property re-assessment
and determine a more appropriate frequency (10 yrs).

I will maintain a quarterly update on the Town website for all major
development projects listing current project status and next expected or
pending action with estimated date, if known.

I will discontinue backroom meetings that should be open to the public
as per open meetings law. Good government begins with establishing transparency.

I will propose appointment of a Citizen Planning and Zoning Advisory Committee.
We need to perform a comprehensive review
of zoning and zoning laws starting with high density development.

I will propose appointment of a Citizens Budget and Finance Committee
to look at all aspects of town expenses, debt and investments focused on
pro-active management that cuts costs.

I will cut spending first before ever considering overriding the tax cap.

I will propose an Anti-Nepotism Policy focused on mitigating
the risk of a qualified Grand Island Resident being passed up for a town job.

I will not be bought by developers or special interests with business before the town.
